Setting
Goals and Exploring Careers
Deciding on your career direction involves asking yourself some
very important questions. What drives you as an individual? What
are you passionate about? How can you turn that desire and passion
into a rewarding career? What do you need to change in order for
this to happen?
Once one starts to ask these questions and explore opportunities,
the answers start to fall into place. Resources are all around
us - from the baker in your neighborhood, to the educational opportunities
offered in your community. Gail's story will portray her quest
in her career as an award-winning caterer and how you can apply
these principles in your career quest.
From Entrepreneur to Entrepreneurial What skills are required to start and run a business and are the skills to run a business different than working for someone else. Gail’s work philosophy requires that we all be entrepreneurial in our approach to work

"When
there's a big party in the offing in Edmonton, Gail Hall's name
is certain to come up. Her award-winning catering company, Gourmet
Goodies, started small, when Hall left a career in social services
to do what she really loved: cook and entertain congenial people."
