The MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type Indictor)

The MBTI® instrument is the most widely used personality inventory in the world. The MBTI® was developed by Katherine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers – based on Carl Jung’s theory of personality type. The MBTI® can be administered and interpreted only by trained professionals. Cally Slater Dowson has her MA in Community Development from the University of Alberta, BA in Psychology from McGill and received her professional training in Myers-Briggs through Psychometrics Canada.

The MBTI® is special in that it is a non-judgmental tool that looks at the strengths and gifts of individuals and encourages them to use their preferences and differences in a positive way which enhances and improves individual and organizational performance.
